Error
The container exited with a non-zero status.
Error on its own is just the exit. The exit code and the container log say whether it was a missing binary, a failed migration, or an uncaught exception.

Questions
›Does exit code 1 mean out of memory?
No. Out of memory is exit 137 and reason OOMKilled. Exit 1 is the application returning failure.
›Why does the pod still show Running?
If restartPolicy is Always, a new container is already starting. Look at Last State, not only the current state.
