ImagePullBackOff
Kubernetes failed to pull the image and is backing off before trying again.
The image name, tag, or registry credentials are wrong, or the registry is unreachable. ErrImagePull is the first failure. ImagePullBackOff is the retry state.

Questions
›How is this different from ErrImagePull?
ErrImagePull is the failed attempt. ImagePullBackOff means Kubernetes is waiting before it tries again.
›The image exists on my machine. Why does the cluster fail?
The node pulls the image itself. A local docker build is invisible unless you push it or load it onto the node.
